St David’s Church
‘Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the Glory of God’ Romans 15:7
St David’s church is affectionately known as the “tin church” situated on Tudhoe lane leading into Tudhoe Village. But don’t let the outside fool you – like the tardis there is far more to this church than meets the eye! The inside of St David’s church is unique – a lovely wooden clad church – simple – warm and welcoming – the sort of building that seems to wrap itself around you and make you feel at home.
We are a friendly church, welcoming friends old and new and have created a relaxed atmosphere of peace and prayer.
Our services are a mix of traditional and modern, and we hope that people will find a service that they feel comfortable with. The range of services vary from Holy Communion (CW), Morning Prayer, Holy Communion (said) midweek. You could try our new ‘Families First’ service on the first Sunday of the month at 4pm. Truly a service for all the family. Please see details of this and all our service times on the Regular Service Page on the website.
We hold a family service on the 4th Sunday of the month at 10am and this is growing in popularity. There are themed arts, crafts and activities for children during the service.
Behind the church is a large car park and the beautifully refurbished Church Hall which is used for many church and community events. There is an easy access toilet and baby changing facilities in the hall.
We really are a small village church with a big heart and a huge welcome.
